ROOFTOP CLAN, SPACESHIPBOI, J LYRICIST, OTHERS TRILL AT COTERIE

 It was party unusual and an evening of fun and entertainment, as April City Entertainment held another edition of its gospel club gig; Coterie on Sunday the 8th of December, 2013 at the Ice Lounge, Surulere, Lagos. Tagged ‘Rhythm and Poetry’, the event featured foremost gospel rap artistes and poets.

The epoch-making event drew a very stylish, young and dynamic crowd. The event was hosted by Gaise Baba, Bukky Lagos and Phebian with highlights of the night including performances by the Rooftop Clan and IBK SpaceshipBoi. Other notable rap artistes present were J Lyricist, Provabs, XL, J Rhythm, Sam Jamz, God’s Own Radical, Gil and J Thyna amongst others. Every minute spent by the guest, celebrities and their fans at the occasion was a blast, due to the outstanding performance of the different artistes. Comedian Tyv Funny supplied an endless cache of jokes leaving the guests holding on to their sides. Foremost gospel disk jockey DJ Xpressit was on the wheels of steel dishing out great party mixes.

The game segment of the show was another high point of the event, as both attendees and celebrities could not control their laughing spree as some gentlemen tried tying the traditional gele for some ladies.

According to representatives from April City Entertainment, Coterie is an event which promotes networking among young professionals and celebrities amidst loads of fun and excitement. “It was a fantastic night of fun and networking and we looking to host more editions next year” said Atoyebi April who is the brain behind the event.
