Amamzindove replies: An Analysis/Critique of Gospel Music videos from Psalmos, Mike Abdul, TIV

I must commend your work so far, analyzing a music video is something that would take a lot of thinking especially when u have anticipated the video for so long. I would like to express my own opinion as regards d analysis of the 3 music videos.
First of all I would like to correct the impression u have about MOVIE SONG by GAISE, it was not a low budget video at all, in fact I felt that DJ TEE was over paid for dat production. So, please try and get your facts right.
Now, speaking of HENRISOUL'S BLOW MY MIND VIDEO, I won't particularly call it a "world class video" like u said, I think it was a little over rated, the hype it had, I feel, is as a result of d fact that  Clarence Peters directed it. The video had NO CONCEPT, NO COLOURS, nothing spectacular apart from the very clear visuals.
Now back to the 3 videos
Orintuntun to me was a good video, yes, I had a problem with the sitting down aspect and maybe the cameo appearances. But then the beggar scene and the guy getting a good news scene made d video different from the usual dancing all d way videos, it had a story and a message which I commend.
MORIRE video by MIKE ABDUL was a very clear and interesting video. I think MONIQUE was very on point in that video, she looked herself, weather we like it or not, she does not have the amount of energy MIKE has.
As for TIV, I don't have much to say, because he has not done any video for himself that is spectacular. Its the usual warehouse or studio shots with dancers in it and very poor costumes.
Anyway, this is just my opinion, we all have a right to ours.

SEYI ALESH LIVE IN CONCERT 2013 HOLLY WOOD

Seyi Alesh Live In concert 2013 Hollywood DATE : SEPTEMBER 6TH 2013 TIME : 6:00PM VENUE : 425C WEST TORRANCE BLVD CARSON, CA 90745 Seyi Aleshinloye, commonly referred to by his stage name, Seyi Alesh, is a worshipper that loves God who displays his heart and gratitude with the vocal breaths he infuses into his saxophone. The current LA based musician was born in Kwara State, Nigeria. When asked where his love for music stemmed from, Alesh recalls the journey beginning when he was just 8 years old. He first started in the church choir with his mother, and later began writing songs at the tender age of 9. By 10 years old, he became the youngest member to join the adult choir in the church that he attended. From the choir, he began to be a lover of instruments and firstly engaged in learning how to play the trumpet. It wasn’t until he collided paths with his cousin that he discovered a deeper passion for the saxophone, the instrument that so encompasses his everyday life. Shortly after, Alesh moved to Lagos, attending School of Music in Lagos State University Nigeria, where he studied Theory of Music, majoring in Saxophone. Also ABRSM, UK. He later met Kunle Ajayi , and studied as his protégé for about 4 years. He then journeyed into the hands of Sammie Okposo and became the first saxophone player in his band, also staying under his wings for four years. While playing as a background musician with Sammie, he was privileged to play on the same platform with popular artists, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin , Hugh Masekela, & Isreal Hougton. After studying under such musical geniuses, Seyi branched off as a solo artist, later forming his own band and touring the city of Lagos locally. Now living in the US, Seyi has toured several cities including, Chicago, LA, Oakland, ATL, Maryland and more. Seyi is also Studying music in Berklee College of Music Boston USA, so far so good Seyi is doing so great in Boston with highest GPA.Originating from Nigeria, the African culture has strongly influenced Seyi’s sound. He states, “African music is mainly denoted by its poly rhythm beats which accentuates its richness. My music mainly incorporates the percussion because of its rhythm, giving it his own signature” When asked, what form of music he is more particular to, he states, “I believe that music is a style of nature so what I embody from my present environment is often times what I display. I don’t put myself in a box”. Alesh describes music as his life stating that music has given him a satisfaction of knowing that he is being able to contribute back to the world doing the one thing he loves to do, playing his saxophone. He loves the sound, the emotions as well as the expression that the saxophone exudes. He also plays the piano and the drums, but neither of those moves his heart the way the saxophone does. One distinction he loves most about the saxophone is that he is able to breathe life into the instrument in order to produce its sound, no comparison to wind instruments. Seyi compares his sound to no one, but states that musical artists, Hugh Masekela, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Charlie Parker, and many others have influenced his passion for music. His vision is to bring souls alive with the sound of music by being a blessing to this present generation using the gift that God has given him. His ultimate desire is simply to beautify the world through his music. When Seyi Alesh isn’t ministering, he’s simply mastering his techniques on the saxophone, always looking for the latest equipment to better enhance his sound. He also enjoys hanging out, going to the movies and swimming. He’s just a regular guy with a genuine love for the sax. To get in contact with Seyi, you can find him on FB (Seyi Alesh Music), Twitter (@SeyiAlesh) & ReverbNation/SeyiAlesh.

My opinion about this (MY AFFAIR WITH PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO OF COZA. )

Please read this-MY AFFAIR WITH PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO OF COZA.http://t.co/mv1OHrW0AC After reading this post I had mixed feelings going through my brain. First of all I think d major problem we are facing as christians is that WE DON'T KNOW WHO WE ARE. Instead of focusing on the word of God We idolize the Men of God forgetting that they are only MEN!, we must stop putting too much trust in them, or we will be so wounded by their shortcomings, especially when they act against the commandments of God. Secondly, as christians we must let learn to let our YES be YES and our NO be NO, just like the bible tells us to. As Christians, I think we should meditate on this scripture James 1:12-15 which says "12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death". Finally, we just read one part of the story,so I would love to read the pastor's reaction to all of this. But don't get it twisted, there is no smoke without fire.

Is Psalmos broke?

On the 12th day of july dis year, Psalmos shot a video to one of her latest single ORIN TUNTUN and made a lot of noise about it. With d presence of other gospel artist such Gaise, Vivien stepen, Anny, Big B, beejay sax just to mention a few. But to my surprise, Henrisoul who shot his video after Psalmos, has released it since last month. Now that makes me wonder "is it that Psalmos can not afford to pay an editor? or she has not even concluded payment of the video shot itself?". Well, I'm sure am speaking for some fans right now, and sincerely, I hope u don't let us down, cause for us to have waited this long, the video must be FANTASTIC and WORTH WAITING FOR.
